I have 20+ years of experience teaching various students. I can confidently say that my teaching method is exceedingly effective and efficient. I teach not only piano but also general music theory and the piano.
🎹 Professional Artistry & Performance Tracks
I. The Competition & Audition Intensive
Designed for high-stakes performance goals where precision and impact are non-negotiable.
This track is built on a high-efficiency model to prepare students for local, national, and international competitions. We move beyond technical proficiency into the realm of competitive artistry.
II. The Conservatory & College Prep Program
A comprehensive roadmap for admission to top-tier music institutions and universities.
Gaining entry to a elite conservatory requires more than a good audition; it requires a sophisticated portfolio. This program treats the student as a pre-professional scholar.
- Trial Lesson Required: New prospective students will first do a trial lesson, including the consultation. The estimated time for the trial lesson would be approximately 30~40 minutes without charge. For beginners, you must arrange a trial lesson and consultation.
- The reason for the trial lesson is to understand prospective students' knowledge and ability to focus.
I must insist on the trial lesson to see how the synergy could be built between the teacher and the student. Despite how great the teacher/student is, if there is no harmony between the two, the relationship will not work.
- Lesson Fees may vary by the level of each students. The lesson fee would be decided after trial lesson and interview.
- If a student fails, is unable, or refuses to follow my instructions or complete an assignment, I cannot guarantee the quality and outcome of the session. I do not tolerate an impassionate attitude toward learning in my studio; I put my all into every session, and students are expected to do the same. If I conclude that the continuance of teaching a student would be a waste of my passion and time, my only option is to terminate the relationship.
- For prospective adult students, please ask for a consultation.
- Lessons are available on weekends.
-
Master-class and recitals will be held annually.
(Due to the pandemic, the group stage meeting is postponed until further notice)
The lesson could be done in either Korean or English per the student's preference.
Lessons for competitions or auditions would be much more intense.
